Nigerian youngsters Bright Osayi-Samuel and Olamide Shodipo were in action when Queens Park Rangers thrashed Swansea City 5-1 in Sunday’s English fifth round FA cup tie.
Eberechi Eze, who was the third player with Nigerian descent in the team missed the game, but no reason was given for his absence.
Jordan Hugill gave the home side the lead before Bright Osayi-Samuel made it 2 – 0 a minute before a half hour.
The London Club got the third on the dot of 45 minutes through Jordan Hugill’s second of the game before George Byers reduced the deficit for Swansea City in the 63rd minutes.
Olamide Shodipo, however, replaced his compatriot Bright Osayi-Samuel with nineteen minutes remaining in the encounter.

Lee Wallace and Josh Scowen got the other two goals to send QPR into the fourth round.
