Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo has been named in the Europa League team of the week after thrashing LASK 5-0 in the first-leg of their last 16 tie on Thursday night as they all but secured qualification to the quarter-final stage.
Goals from Odion Ighalo, Daniel James, Juan Mata, Mason Greenwood and Andreas Pereira gave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side the win on a strange night in Austria.
The match at the Linzer Stadion was held in front of an empty stadium, due to fears about the spread of coronavirus, but that didn't stop United from a thoroughly professional display.
United's win was the highlight of a game week heavily affected by the ongoing pandemic, with six players making their way into the team of the week.
Scorers Ighalo and James were joined by Fred, Luke Shaw, Eric Bailly and Brandon Williams in the official team of the week. Four FC Basel players were also included while there was one from Bayer Leverkusen also involved.
United's second leg against LASK next Thursday has been postponed, along with all other UEFA games scheduled for next week.
But next week's Europa League and Champions League games have been confirmed as suspended, along with UEFA Youth League games.
