Official: Arsenal Announces Unai Emery as New manager

Arsenal’s press office has announced in an official statement that Spanish coach Unai Emery is now the new head coach of the club.

The 46-year-old previously spent three seasons with Sevilla, leading them to an unprecedented three consecutive Europa League titles, establishing the club as a major force in the Spanish league, the statement says.

Unai started his coaching career at Lorca Deportiva in 2005 after playing mostly in the Spanish second division. He went on to coach Almeria, Valencia and Spartak Moscow before joining Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain.

Arsene Wenger has been in charge of Arsenal since 1996 and won 17 titles with the club.
