Ogenyi Onazi Ruled Out of Action For 3 Weeks

Ogenyi Onazi has been ruled out for three weeks after sustaining a muscle injury in Trabzonspor's 2-1 win over Fenerbahce in a Turkish Lig game on Sunday.

The Trabzonspor midfielder who starred for the entire duration of the win was diagnosed with a second-degree muscle injury in his right leg according to a medical report by the club's doctor, Hakan Bozdogan.

“Ogenyi Onazi, who had a complaint of muscle pain in his right calf is expected to start working with the team within three weeks after the treatment is started.”

Onazi who is currently in Abuja created a buzz with his N500, 000 gifts after the players of Kano Pillars finished their session on Wednesday.

Onazi has been ignored from the Super Eagles squad for the last four games due to his unrelenting injuries according to the manager, Gernot Rohr.

Onazi is expected to be back in the fold once he recovers fully from his achilles injury.
