Ola Aina is expected to return to his Italian club, Torino today for further treatment after missing Nigeria’s 1-1 away draw against the Bafana Bafana on Saturday due to injury, reports.
The defender picked up the injury during Super Eagles' last training session ahead of the game against South Africa at the FNB Stadium, Johannesburg.
Aina featured in Nigeria's previous two qualifiers against Libya in October.
Aina will not recover in time for Tuesday's international friendly clash against the Uganda Cranes scheduled for the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba and instead will return to his base in Italy to focus on his recovery.
Already, Leon Balogun has been ruled out of the friendly due to injury leaving 21 players in camp for the game.
