Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has appeared to slam Jose Mourinho over his Manchester United tactics.
Solskjaer has transformed the Red Devils' chances since replacing Mourinho in December, leading them to six wins on the spin to reignite their top-four bid.
The Norwegian, who was appointed on a provisional basis, has put himself in pole position to land the job permanently after a perfect start in the hot seat.
He has taken off all the bad blood and the players are enjoying a new lease of life, smashing 17 goals in just six games.
Mourinho was criticised for his negative tactics and when asked by former team-mate what he needed to change when he arrived, Solskjaer said: “The first thing is to smile when you're at Manchester United because when it's over you do miss it.
“It's about attacking, about pace, about power. I know we didn't have the best of pace but we still attacked.
“That's what Manchester United are built around – attacking football and going forward. Not stupid square and back passes.”
