The Georgios Karaiskakis stadium will host Olympiacos vs Genk on Thursday, as both teams set their sights on a place in the play-off round of the UEFA Europa League. It'll be interesting to see who will be left standing at the end of this two-legged tie.

We would like to point out that just last week, Genk participated in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Champions League. However, they crashed out on penalties at the hands of Swiss side Servette; and as a result, Wouter Vrancken's side were relegated to the Europa League qualifiers.

Interestingly, Nigerian-born Tolu Arokodare went from hero to villain in that match. Although the 22 year old striker gave Genk the lead in the second half, he missed the penalty that sealed the club's fate. As a matter of fact, Arokodare didn't start in Genk's loss to Eupen last weekend; although he came on just after the 60 minute mark. That said, let's see how both teams could potentially line up ahead of this match.

Olympiacos vs Genk probable lineups

Olympiacos

Goalkeeper: Konstantinos Tzolakis.
Defenders: Ramon, Andreas Ndoj, Panagiotis Retsos, Rodinei.
Midfielders: Andreas Bouchalakis, Vicente Iborra, Mady Camara, Marios Vrousai, Giorgos Masouras.
Strikers: Youssef El Arabi.

Genk

Goalkeeper: Maarten Vandevoordt.
Defenders: Daniel Muñoz, Carlos Cuesta, Mark McKenzie, Joris Kayembe Ditu.
Midfielders: Joseph Paintsil, Matias Galarza, Patrik Hrosovsky, Mike Tresor, Bilal El Khannouss.
Strikers: Tolu Arokodare.

Unfortunately, Wouter Vrancken will not be able to call upon the services of Bryan Heynen. The Belgian midfielder was injured in the first half of Genk's loss to Eupen; he was ruled out for their First Division A game last weekend, and is expected to miss today's match as well. Although Tolu Arokodare didn't start last weekend, he's expected to be in the starting lineup for today's match. The visitors will likely line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Tolu Arokodare leading the attack.

On the other hand, Olympiacos have a healthy group of players to choose from; they have no suspended or injured players heading into this match. It's important to point out that Diego Martinez's men have only played friendly matches up until this point; and this will be their first competitive match of the season. The Spaniard will likely adopt a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Youssef El Arabi being the sole striker.
