Dubbed a wonderkid, the forward turns 18 on Wednesday and the Premier League outfit will hand him a contract to reward him for the progress he has made over the course of this season.
Glatzel, who presently captains the Under-18s, netted his 22nd goal of the season last week and has established a prolific partnership with Bobby Duncan.
He has already featured for the Under-23s and has been so impressive that he has trained with Jurgen Klopp and the first-team squad as well.
Glatzel has been performing truly well in the academy side this season and it will be no bolt from the blue that Liverpool will look to tie him down as quickly as possible.
