In what sounds like a sensible strategy, Los Blancos would rather sell players so as to get Pogba’s fee down, with some possible names on offer, as per the Times.
The report lists Gareth Bale as a big earner that Real Madrid would love to have off their books, but other players on offer to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side could also be James Rodriguez, Theo Hernandez, Keylor Navas and Isco, even if the latter is still considered by Zinedine Zidane as a possible useful squad member he’d like to have around.
From the Red Devils’ point of view, Bale looks like a perilous choice but might also be an option worth exploring if they don’t have to pay huge sum for him, with his recent form and fitness a bit of a concern.
Still, the Wales international would certainly still be an upgrade on Alexis Sanchez in the attack, while Isco and James Rodriguez might also be valuable additions in that department.
