Legendary forward Lionel Messi will travel to Paris today to complete his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
According to reports in France, the Argentine forward will have his medical on either Sunday evening or on Monday after he bid farewell to Barcelona in a press conference on Sunday morning.
The final details of the contract will also be finalised before he is announced as a PSG player, with a two-year deal agreed between the club and Messi.
The six-time Balon d’Or winner will be the latest addition to manager Mauricio Pochettino’s squad this summer in what has been an impressive transfer window for the Parisiens.
Georginio Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos and Gianluigi Donnarumma have all joined for free as they aim to avenge their second place finish last season behind Lille.
Achraf Hakimi has also arrived from Inter Milan for £54million ahead of Pochettino’s first full season in charge and will look to progress further than they did in Europe last season.
