Paris Saint-Germain have allegedly contacted Manchester United as regards a player-plus-cash deal for midfielder Paul Pogba.
PSG are said to be keen on making Pogba, who is currently away on World Cup duty, their marquee summer signing.
According to The Sun, the Ligue 1 champions will also consider a cash-only transfer, but they believe that they will have a better fortune by offering Marco Verratti as a makeweight.
Man. United boss Jose Mourinho is said to be a big fan of diminutive playmaker Verratti, although it is not clear whether offloading the France international is part of his summer plans.
United have already added Brazilian midfielder Fred to their ranks this summer, but Michael Carrick has retired and Marouane Fellaini is likely to move on.
