I’m sure we all by now are well aware of who the best FIFA football awards finalists where. But how did the rest of the players rank before the best FIFA football awards 2018 winner was announced?
If Lionel Messi’s and Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence from the FIFA best player 2018 Award gala was enough insult to his fans, the final results of football’s governing body awards could make some of his fans get embarrassed.
After Luka Modric took home the FIFA best player 2018 Award in the Mens’ category, the final results were made public by the entity. The Croatian maestro took home the award after being handed 29.05% of the votes, followed by Cristiano Ronaldo at 19.08% and Mohamed Salah’s 11.23% of the points.
What really as shocking is that Lionel Messi wasn’t able to reach the fourth spot, as he was only awarded 9.81% of the votes. Kylian Mbappé got more than “La Pulga”, with his final score being divulged at 10.52%.
Antoine Griezmann was 6th, Eden Hazard was 7th, Kevin de Bruyne came 8th, Raphael Varane took the 9th position and Harry Kane was the 10th on the best FIFA football awards 2018 list.
