Solskjaer Provides Marcus Rashford & Anthony Martial Injury Updates Before Crystal Palace

Rashford and Martial Injury Updates

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still maintains an unbeaten run in the Premier League but could that come to an end at Crystal Palace?

Roy Hodgson's side have already beaten Man City 3-2 this season and come into the United match on the back of a 4-1 win at Leicester City last weekend.

It was clear throughout Sunday's match that Marcus Rashford, who played 90 minutes against Liverpool, was hampered by injury.

The England was forced to play the full match after United had more serious injury problems to tend to.

Solskjaer told the press he'd be surprised if the 21-year-old played against Palace.

Though, in the Telegraph on Tuesday morning, Man United fans are told that Rashford may feature in midweek.

Solskjaer will hope Marcus Rashford is prepared to play through the pain barrier United are hopeful over Rashford.

On the other hand, French forward Anthony Martial missed the Liverpool match altogether.

Martial was deemed unfit to play against the Reds, while he wasn't even named on the bench.

Anthony Martial remains a doubt with a groin injury that has kept him out of the past two matches and midfielders Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera and Juan Mata and forward Jesse Lingard are all expected to miss the game with hamstring problems.

Alexis Sanchez seems set to start at Selhurst Park tomorrow night.

Romelu Lukaku is poised to lead the United attack in south London.
