Real Madrid are planning a move for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Edinson Cavani.
The European champions are yet to secure a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, although it is understood that Los Blancos are prepared to spend big in order to land a new attacker this summer.
Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has been strongly linked with a move, but Julen Lopetegui’s team are also thinking of approaching the French giants over a possible deal for Cavani, according to Diario AS.
The Blues have reportedly already had a bid for the Uruguay international rejected by PSG though, with the French champions signalling that they have no intention of allowing Cavani leave this summer.
The 31-year-old moved to Paris from Napoli in the summer of 2013, and Cavani has netted 170 goals in 246 appearances for PSG in all competitions.
