Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and midfielder Willian are reportedly being lined up by Real Madrid in a double £100m swoop.
According to reports in the Daily Mail, current Chelsea number one stopper will be in the final year of his contract by the start of the 2018/19 Premier League season, and after an impressive World Cup display, winning the golden glove, a move away from English football appears likely for Belgian keeper, with the palpable choice being Spanish giants Real Madrid.
A move to Spain would not only be a chance for him to play with some of the biggest names in current world soccer but would make sense on a personal level, since his children are now living in Spain following his loan spell with league rivals Atlético Madrid.
In spite of Chelsea's leaky defence, Courtois came third in the golden glove contest last season in the Premier League.
He followed closely behind the two impressive Man City keepers, David De Gea and Ederson, with a total of 15 clean sheets, with just three behind the highly rated De Gea.
If he does leave West London, the Blues will have until August 9th to sign another keeper, otherwise, the odd prospect of Rob Green or Willy Caballero becoming Chelsea's number one will become reality.
