There are claims that Real Madrid have slashed Cristiano Ronaldo‘s release clause from €1bn (£873m) to €120m (£105m).
The clause cannot be triggered by Spanish teams and also consists of small print excluding French giants Paris Saint-Germain too, according to OK Diario.
Ronaldo, who is presently on international duty with Portugal at the 2018 World Cup finals, dropped a strong hint that he will leave Real this summer after starring in their 3-1 win over Liverpool in the Champions League final.
The report alleges that four clubs have made firm bids for Ronaldo, the clubs are Manchester City, AC Milan, Arsenal as well as Chelsea. Though his former employers, Manchester United have been tipped as the frontrunners to buy him.
Ronaldo is likely to confirm where he will be playing his club football next season after the World Cup in Russia.
