Manchester City defender Eric Garcia has reportedly agreed personal terms with Barcelona to facilitate a return to his homeland.
Barcelona have long led the race to sign the defender, who spent nine years in the club’s academy before moving to Manchester in 2017.
And although Garcia has now taken a step closer to securing a return to the Camp Nou, there are still several hurdles to overcome.
The latest transfer reports suggest that Barcelona will limit their offer to €5 million for Eric Garcia. The La Liga giants do not wish to pay more for the player and negotiations between both the clubs are reportedly going to be ‘very hard’.
The Catalan is into the final year of his contract at the Ethiad Stadium and was initially expected to leave the club in the summer.
