Rohr in Final Meeting With Super Eagles Players After Team Walk

Gernot Rohr is holding a final team meeting with the Super Eagles in the hours leading up to their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.

The Nigerian team walk which started in the premises of the Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort at 1100 hours, saw Rohr outline his tactics for the match after the Super Eagles team walk, and he also announced the confirmed starting line-up.

The team walk is a ritual during match days and helps the squad to bond before stepping out onto the pitch.

All the players Rohr has invited for the two ties against Libya are available for selection, with the exclusion of Trabzonspor midfielder Eddy Onazi who suffered an Achilles injury in the second to last workout.

The Libyan National Team arrived Uyo on Friday evening and had a feel of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium shortly after their arrival in the Akwa Ibom State capital.

A Congolese referee Jean-Jacques Ndala Ngambo will officiate today’s match at 1600 hours.
