Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr has severely warned players that lateness to camp will not be tolerated ahead of Nigeria’s friendly tie against Ukraine in Dnipro on September 10.
The international friendly will be the first game the Eagles will be playing after the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt where Nigeria won the third-place match against Tunisia.
According to Soccernet.ng, the invited foreign-based players will be joining up other players in camp in Ukraine.
“I’m excited to receive some of the invited players to camp since this will be our first time playing together after the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
“Ukraine is not a bad team and we’ll not be approaching the game in a friendly manner, rather, I’ll like my team to see the game like it were a cup game.
“I want to win, my players want to win. That’s our priority for the Ukraine tie.
“Invited players also know the need to arrive camp early so as to have an understanding amongst all the players.
“This match will be played with all seriousness and I assure you the players will live up to expectation.
