Rohr Worried As Key Player Will Be Missing In October Friendlies

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will be playing African rivals, Cote D’Ivoire and Tunisia in two international friendly games scheduled for next month.

But now Kenneth Omeruo has become a major doubt for the October friendlies.

Omeruo was taken off in Leganes pre-season friendly against Albacete over the weekend.

The defender was forced out 12 minutes into the encounter due to some physical issues and was replaced by Josua Mejías.

The extent of Omeruo’s injury is not known yet.

The 26-year-old’s injury will be a worry for Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr, ahead of the clash against the Elephants and Carthage Eagles.

One of the key players in the German’s team is the former Middlesbrough star.
