Cristiano Ronaldo will reportedly not appear for The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony scheduled to hold on Monday.
The Juventus forward was expected in London to defend his crown, which he was up for along with Mohamed Salah and Luka Modric.
However, Tuttosport reports that CR 7 will snub The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony, similar to how he was absent at the Champions League group-stage draw earlier in the month.
The newspaper claims that the No 7’s desire to focus on Wednesday’s Serie A game against Bologna is behind his decision, given Juventus face Napoli at the weekend.
On the other hand, there are rumors that it could be because of former Real Madrid team-mate Luka Modric being the favorite for The Best FIFA Football award.
