REVEALED! Ronaldo’s Phone Call With Perez Before Attending El Clasico

Ronaldo’s Phone Call Perez El Clasico

After Cristiano Ronaldo’s unceremonious exit from Real Madrid, a club he represented and dominated at for nine seasons, seeing him back at the Bernabeu for the recent Clasico was a welcome sight.

However, was this proof that the player and club are back on good terms? According to Marca, there is some truth to that.

The Spanish publication have revealed that Florentino Perez, the Blancos president and man whom Ronaldo blamed for his exit, received a call from the Portuguese icon.

Juventus were meant to take on Inter Milan that same day but the postponement of that game until May 14 meant the five-time Ballon d’Or winner was free to fly to Madrid to watch his former club lock horns with Barcelona.

And so he reached out to Perez, with the Real Madrid present inviting the Portuguese icon to the Bernabeu to watch the game.

The Spanish giants, however, did not want Ronaldo’s presence to overshadow the game itself and was placed at a discrete box but this did not work as the media quickly caught on to his arrival.

Pictures of Ronaldo watching on as Vinicius Jr and Mariano led Real Madrid to a 2-0 victory dominated the headlines.

Marca add that both parties went their separate ways after the game ended having “renewed old friendships”.
