Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze has been listed among top 50 youngsters that are expected to blossom during the 2019-20 season.
According to a release on UEFA's official website, the Villarreal winger, who was a member of the Super Eagles squad at the just-concluded 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, remains the only Nigerian youngster, rated highly by UEFA's team of reporters.
The body further explained the choice of the 20-year-old Chukwueze as a potential star in the making in the new season, wrote: ”Precocious winger with UEFA Europa League experience; the Nigeria Football Federation's young player of the year for 2017/18”.
Other youngsters in the top 50 list include the likes of Rhian Brewster, Alphonso Davies, Carel Eiting, Gedson Fernandes, Sean Longstaff and William Saliba.
Interestingly, Chukwueze remains one of the top performers helping Villarreal beat the dreaded drop to the lower league last season, scoring five times in 26 appearances in the Spanish La Liga.

Chukwueze, who started his career at the Diamond Academy opened his Super Eagles goal account in the 2-1 win over South Africa at AFCON 2019 as Nigeria settled for a bronze.
