Leicester City will refuse to give in to any move from Manchester United for Harry Maguire as the Foxes are trying to tie the 25-year-old to a new long-term deal.
United have made it clear to Leicester that they want to sign the former Sheffield United youngster this summer, while the England international is said to be confident of making the move to Old Trafford.
However, BBC Sport reports that Leicester are not interested in selling the central defender, and will decline to talk about a deal with Man Utd ahead of the closing of the transfer window on August 9.
Maguire, who impressed for England at the Russia 2018 World Cup, penned a five-year deal with Leicester upon his arrival from Hull City last summer, but possibly will now be offered new and improved terms.
Maguire appeared in all 38 of Leicester's Premier League games last season before helping England reach the semi-finals of the World Cup in Russia.
