Southampton have beaten West Brom 2-0 at St. Mary's after what was a solid and comfortable performance from his players.
Moussa Djenepo was on target for Saints, scoring his first goal of the campaign, and Oriol Romeu joined him with a stellar second-half strike.
West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnstone was the star of the show during the opening 45 minutes, pulling off three top-drawer saves to deny Southampton.
Danny Ings and Che Adams would have both been on the scoresheet were it not for the former Manchester United shot-stopper.
But Saints went into the break ahead thanks to Mali international Moussa Djenepo.
Djenepo told HampshireLive on Tuesday of his desire to add more goals to his game and delivered the goods just before the break with his first goal of the season and the first by any Southampton player other than Ings.
And during the second half, Romeu joined him on the score sheet with a technically sublime volley to fire the game out of reach of West Brom.
Ralph Hasenhuttl's side made it two wins in two and are now up to tenth in the Premier League.
