The camp of the Super Eagles in Lagos has adopted an interesting slogan of ‘4 Days, 2 Matches, 6 Points' in preparation for Nigeria's date with CAR in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifying series.
The Super Eagles are billed to face The Wild Beasts in Lagos, Nigeria on Thursday while the return leg takes place on Sunday in Douala Cameroon.
The slogan is a manifestation of the aspiration of the three-time African champions to collect all six points in the two matches over the four days, which will ease their passage into the single knockout round of the qualifying race to Qatar.
All 23 players invited by Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr are now at the Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island following the arrival on Tuesday evening of goalkeeper Maduka Okoye.
Gernot Rohr's Super Eagles side will leave Lagos for Douala on Saturday morning for the return leg at 2pm on Sunday in Cameroon.
