The Super Eagles of Nigeria will go up against the Cranes of Uganda in an international friendly face-off on Tuesday, November 20 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
The friendly encounter will come up three days after Nigeria’s crucial 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa which will hold at the FNB Stadium, Johannesburg on Saturday, November 17.
Uganda will likewise host Cape Verde in a 2019 AFCON qualifier Group L clash same day at the Nelson Mandela Stadium, Kampala.
The Eagles and the Cranes sit at the top of their respective groups and are close to securing a berth in Cameroon 2019.
The Super Eagles occupy the top position in Group E with nine points and need a win from their remaining two matches against South Africa and Seychelles to book their ticket in the 2019 AFCON finals.
Uganda who top Group L with 10 points need just a point from their next two matches to be guaranteed a place.
Uganda defeated Nigeria 1-0 the last time both teams met in a friendly match on March 25, 2015, at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium with Farouk Miya scoring the winner.
