Alex Iwob has been asked to leave Everton after he was left out of the Toffees’ opening game against Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday’s Premier League.
That is the view of former Nigeria international Ifeanyi Udeze who believes Iwobi is not being treated well.
The 24-year-old did not make Carlo Ancelotti’s squad which had new signings James Rodriguez, Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The trio made their debuts as Everton beat Spurs 1-0 away thanks to Dominic Calvert-Lewin strike.
And Udeze has urged the Super Eagles forward to start looking for another club positing Rodriguez’s signing will deny him playing time.
“I think Iwobi should look for another club especially with James Rodriguez signed it will be difficult for him to play,” Udeze said on Brila FM.
“Imagine against Tottenham he did not make the bench and even the squad. So for me he should start looking for another club.
“It’s painful for me but as it is I think the best thing is for him to go elsewhere.”
