Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has on Wednesday completed a loan move to Getafe, the LaLiga club has announced.
The 24-year-old joins the LaLiga side until the end of the 2019/2020 season.
When at Stoke City under Michael O’Neill, Etebo struggled for game time, following the exit of Nathan Jones in November.
The option to move to Spain arrived after Getafe coach Jose Bordalas asked the club president to sign another midfielder following a spate of injuries.
Meanwhile, the LaLiga outfit have included an option to buy in the deal.
Etebo moved to Stoke City from CD Fierense for €7.2m in the summer of 2018, having previously spent time on loan at Spanish club Las Palmas.
