Nigeria will take on the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in two separate friendlies in Austria next month.
The Super Eagles will take on their arch-rivals at the Weiner Neustadt Stadium in Austria on Friday, June 4, as part of preparations for the World Cup qualifying series scheduled to kick off later in the year.
But it was hoped that the three-time African champions would be able to secure one more friendly against another African nation after the Cameroon clash.
However, BBC’s Osasu Obayiuwana, claims the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have not been able to secure another opponent and now Gernot Rohr and his men are likely to play against Cameroon twice.
Nigeria’s scheduled friendly against Mexico on July 4 at the Los Angeles Coliseum, United States is still expected to hold regardless.
