Having been selected by Whoscored on Monday as one of the outstanding players impressed in the matchday twenty-three of the Swedish Allsvenskan, hammarby IF playmaker, Akinkunmi Amoo, has once again made the headlines as he's been rewarded for his heroics with a place in the team of the week.
The 19-year old midfield sensation made a return to his side's starting eleven in the clash against AIK last weekend, and scored the game's only goal in the second half to seal the three points for Hammarby.
His performance has now attracted yet another player of the week honours with the attacking midfielder named in the team of the week for matchday twenty-three by Discovery+ Sports.
Amoo who was also in the team of the week after matchday twenty, is the only player of Hammarby on the list with IF Elfsborg Rasmus Alm claiming the overall player of the week following his brace against Djurgardens.
Amoo took his goals contribution for the season to 10 goals (7 goals, 3 assists), also claimed the man of the match against AIK, his second in two consecutive games to move his side up to 6th on the log with 37 points from 23 games.
