Ex international, Tijani Babaginda has revealed that he's impressed with the performance of former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo in Manchester United's 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Ighalo, who made his debut appearance with just few minutes left in the second half, showed some flashes of his potentials after Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire had secured a two-goal lead for the Red Devils.
In a chat with Goalball, Babaginda said that it would be too early to start expecting much from the former Shanghai Greenland Shenhua striker.
He also believed that Ighalo would offer the Red Devils more firepowers in the attack in subsequent matches.
“I am quite delighted to see Odion Ighalo don Manchester United jersey against Chelsea in the Premier League. Aside from being a fan of the Premier League, the arrival of Ighalo at Man United will also draw more fan base for the team,” Babaginda told Goalballlive.com.
“Well, his debut performance against Chelsea was impressive because he played just 10 minutes in that encounter.
”The few touches he had were fantastic and I want to believe he will blend more with the team.
“I am confident Ighalo won't disappoint at Man United because he has the experience to deliver at the highest level.”
