Tottenham 0-1 Everton: Mourinho Calls Spurs Players Uncanny Name After Defeat

Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that some of his players had the wrong ‘state of mind' after a lazy performance against Everton.

Spurs boss then branded his players “lazy” after being outclassed by Everton in a shock defeat.

The Spurs boss said: “I'm disappointed with my team. My message is inside the dressing room. I'm so happy no more Amazon because these things can stay between us.

“We were lazy in our pressing. That is a consequence of bad fitness, bad pre-season. Some players didn't even have a pre-season. Some players had a wrong state of mind.

“I did not like my team today. I did not like so many referees and officials to allow the free kick to be taken six metres from where it should have been.

“But we did not have the physical condition, we had no intensity. I could not expect them to be sharp, intense and agile. But I was expecting much more.”
