Tottenham have made contact with former Manchester United flop Angel Di Maria over a free transfer this summer, reports claim.
Di Maria remains a crucial part of Paris Saint-Germain new boss Mauricio Pochettino with his deal running until the end of the season.
But according to French outlet L’Equipe, Spurs are interested in signing the 32-year-old Argentine playmaker.
Di Maria’s future with the French giants remains in doubt and Spurs are keen on bringing him back to England.
Meanwhile, PSG have been heavily linked with a loan move for Dele Alli, who was left out of the Tottenham squad for their 4-1 win over Wycombe in the FA Cup fourth round on Monday.
Alli has not started a Premier League game for Spurs since being hooked off at half-time in an opening-day defeat to Everton last September.
