Troost-Ekong, Collins Ruled Out Of Second Friendly Vs Cameroon

William Troost-Ekong and Jamilu Collins will not feature in Tuesday’s friendly match against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

The duo were injured during Friday’s friendly against same opponent and will play no part in the next game at the Stadion Weiner Neustadt.

Valentine Ozorwanfor laws brought in to replace Troost-Ekong in the game after picking up an injury, while Collins stayed on for the entire duration of the match.

“It’s a difficult situation to have a defence (for the second game),” the Super Eagles boss admitted.

“We may now have to change the system and play with three defenders.”

Only four defenders; Chidozie Awaziem, Shehu Abdullahi, Anthony Izuchukwu and Ozorwanfor are available for the next friendly.
