Tyronne Ebuehi Begs To Leave Benfica On Loan

Ebuehi Leave Benfica Loan

Super Eagles defender, Tyronne Ebuehi doesn’t seem to want to continue with Portuguese Primera Liga champions Benfica and has asked to let him leave the club on loan this month.

The 24-year-old was with the Super Eagles in 2018 but missed the entire campaign after copping a cruciate ligament injury in training.

Ebuehi has also struggled with his fitness this season and has featured in seven games for the Benfica’s U23 side and gone on four outings for the Team B.

A report in Portuguese online news hub, abola.pt, claim that the right-back is pushing for a loan move to another club before the end of the winter transfer window.

Ebuehi spent four years at Dutch Eredivisie outfit ADO Den Haag before joining up with Benfica on a free transfer in 2018 after signing a five-year deal.

He made 78 league appearances for the club and scored one goal.
