UEFA Champions League Squad Of The Season Revealed (2019)

UEFA have revealed their Champions League squad of the season – and six Liverpool stars have been included.

Jurgen Klopp's men lifted the Champions League trophy on Saturday night following a 2-0 win over Tottenham at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid.

Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, Gini Wijnaldum and Sadio Mane have all made UEFA's best 20 players from the competition.

Manchester City and Spurs are also represented in the squad, but no Manchester United players was able to make the grade.

City has Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling, while losing finalists Tottenham see Jan Vertonghen, Mo Sissoko and Lucas Moura reach the select group.

Barcelona have Marc-Andre Ter Stegen as the spare keeper, along with Lionel Messi.

Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo makes an appearance.

No representatives came from European giants PSG, Bayern or holders Real Madrid.

The squad was selected by the European governing body's Technical Observers.
