Umar Sadiq To quit Rangers as Gerrard his Fed Up with him

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has made his feelings known as regards Umar Sadiq as the club is ready to terminate the contract of the Nigeria striker.

The Super Eagles striker who joined Rangers on loan from Italian Serie A giants AS Roma has struggled to impress since his move to Scotland.

Sadiq has been limited to just 116 minutes since he joined Rangers in the summer transfer window even when fellow strikers partners Kyle Lafferty and Alfredo Morelos are injured.

Gerrard spoke highly of the qualities the Nigeria international possesses and hoped he could be a valuable addition to the team,.

According to a report by the Scottish Sun, Gerrard is bothered by the acquisition of the Nigerian striker and is prepared to part ways with Sadiq ahead of the summer transfer window.

In the report, there has been a green light by Gerrard to sell Sadiq with Liverpool forward Dominic Solanke linked as a possible replacement.

Sadiq, whose lanky stature like that of Super Eagles great Nwankwo Kanu, will not be short of suitors if offloaded in the winter transfer window.
