Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Semi Ajayi were paraded for Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion respectively on Sunday.
Ndidi put up a fine performance as the Foxes started the new season on a winning note defeating West Brom 0-3-0 in their own backyard.
The Nigerian midfielder Nidid was deployed as a centre-back and played a key role in the away side keeping a clean sheet in the game.
Nidid saw 90 minutes of action in the highly entertaining contest whereas his international teammate, Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute for Leicester.
Semi Ajayi was also paraded for the entire duration of the game, although he got booked for a rough tackle in the 63rd minute.
Leicester new boy Timothy Castagne opened scoring for Leicester City in the 56th minute before Two goals from Jamie Vardy from the spot in the 74th and 84th minutes did the damage.
