West Ham Join Leicester In Race For Chelsea’s Danny Drinkwater

West Ham have joined the race to take Danny Drinkwater off Chelsea's hands.

Drinkwater hasn't been able to prove his £35m price tag at Chelsea after his season was plagued by injury.

Sunsport reported that Leicester were prepared to buy back their midfielder at a cut-price, but they may perhaps now have to resist advances from their London rivals.

The Hammers, according to the Mirror, are looking for reinforcements in midfield and believe Drinkwater may possibly be their man.

It's the second time the east London side have been linked with Drinkwater this summer.

Their midfield seems to be shaping up fairly adequately after bringing Jack Wilshere on board and there are question marks as to whether Drinkwater would end up warming the bench again.

There isn't much space for Drinkwater in this squad if you ask me.
