Jose Mourinho held a meeting with the Tottenham players at Hotspur Way before taking charge of his first session as Spurs boss, according to reports.
One of his first decisions in the Tottenham hot-seat was to delay the team’s morning training session until the afternoon.
That allowed the ex-Chelsea boss to settle into the Enfield-based training centre and meet with his new players beforehand.
The Daily Telegraph report that the Special One told Tottenham players that they must all pull together in other to save their season.
Spurs are currently in 14th place and 11 points adrift of the top four.
However given that they’re just one win away from fifth-placed Sheffield United, there is optimism that Tottenham can turn things around.
The former Manchester United boss is also said to have held talks with the likes of Harry Kane, as he looks to convince the dressing room to buy into his Tottenham blueprint.
Mourinho is keen to win trophies in north London, something Pochettino was unable to do during his five-and-a-half-year spell.
