Zinedine Zidane has brought out a list of transfer targets that he will put into action if given Jose Mourinho’s job as Manchester United boss.
Mourinho has been under severe pressure following an underwhelming start to the new Premier League season that saw him suffer two defeats in four matches.
The Red Devils managed to ease some of the pressure on their coach with a convincing 2-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor last week but the Frenchman continues to pick interest on his role.
Zidane has already begun preparing for his potential new job by getting ready a list of players he would like to bring in if handed the reins, The Mirror reports.
Those included in Zidane’s list include Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos, Thiago Alcantara of Bayern Munich, James Rodriguez – currently on loan at Bayern from Real Madrid – and Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani.
Zidane quit his Real Madrid job as the club manager just days after securing a third-straight Champions League triumph against Liverpool in Kiev and has been out of work since.
While in charge at the Bernabeu, Zidane also managed to collect a La Liga winners medal in 2017 while also winning the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup twice each.
