Zidane To Swap 3 Real Madrid Players For Prime Barca Target

Zidane Swap Real Madrid Players

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is ready to send out three of his players in order to land his desired target during the summer.

With Sergio Ramos ageing and there still being uncertainties over the future of Raphael Varane at Real Madrid, the French manager wants to formulate a move for a world-class central defender.

Zidane is not content with just the arrival of Eder Militao and wants another player to complement the Porto man.

Real are in the chase for Ajax Amsterdam property Matthijs de Ligt, but are very likely to lose out on him to bitter rivals Barcelona.

However, the club does not want that to happen and will go a level higher in their bid to lure the Netherlands international to the Spain capital, according to Fox Sports.

According to the claim, the Real Madrid gaffer is ready to offer three players of his Real Madrid setup to Ajax Amsterdam during the summer in exchange of Matthijs de Ligt.

The three players in contention to ply their trade at the Amsterdam Arena from next season onward are Martin Odegaard, Jesus Vallejo and Mariano Diaz.

Martin Odegaard has been the subject of interest at Amsterdam and with Zidane potentially considering him as a surplus to his requirement, the Whites could be ready to send the player to Ajax as well.

If Raphael Varane ends up leaving and Los Merengues can offer a guarantee of regularity next to Sergio Ramos to de Ligt then they may have their man in a wicked twist of tales.
