Super Falcons of Nigeria captain Asisat Oshoala has been named in Forbes Africaâs â30 Under 30 list.
Oshoala has been in scintillating form for Barcelona this season with 20 goals and one assist in 19 Liga Iberdrola appearances.
Her impressive performances for the Blaugurana have drawn global attention, making her one of the young people doing exploits in their fields.
Oshoala, who is the reigning African women player of the year has also featured top English sides; Arsenal and Liverpool.
Recently, she won the Confederation of African Footballâs (CAF) Womenâs Player of the Year for the fourth time.
âI am really excited, proud of myself; four times is something to always remember,â she told BBC Sport Africa.
âIt [the win] keeps me going, but of course, there is still more work to do, I want to create my own history and not just equal someone elseâs record. Iâm going to give my best to create mine,â she said.
She plays for both the Nigerian women national team and internationally for the Spanish side FC Barcelona Femenà in the Primera División as a forward.

Some other successful Nigerian youngsters to have made the illustrious list for 2020 include Florence Otedola AKA DJ Cuppy and Tosin Ajibade AKA Mr Eazi.
