Hein Vanhaezebrouck, manager of KAA Gent, is not looking forward to missing any Gift Orban goals this season. However, the 59-year-old Belgian is also gearing up for a season without the mercurial forward who is versatile enough to play across the attack.
The links to Tottenham in the Premier League are the strongest but clubs in Ligue 1 are still in the race, according to reports.
After their UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying match with Pogoń Szczecin in which Orban scored a hattrick, Vanhaezebrouck was asked about how important Gift Orban goals this season have been for him since Gent got their 2023/24 season underway.
The manager called him a phenomenon while maintaining that he will do well wherever he ends up.

“He’s a phenomenon and he will continue to be a phenomenon. I’ve said it five times, and I’ll keep saying it,” he told reporters after the game.
“Even if he is no longer here, he will remain a phenomenon, and I will continue to say that. He is 21 and remains a young guy.
“His hattrick? That is nothing special in itself anymore, is it?”
