Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is expected to return from injury for the Foxes next weekend, thatâs according to the clubâs manager Brendan Rodgers.
With the 23-year-old mostly absent through a worrisome knee injury, the Foxes have struggled to reproduce the superb form they demonstrated in the first half of the season.
That trend continued on Friday night as Leicester were held to 0-0 draw at Molineux Stadium by Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The result means Rodgersâ side have gone three games without a win across all competitions and claimed just one victory from their last five Premier League fixtures.
With a crunch match against Manchester City coming up next Saturday, February 22, Leicester will be desperate to have the Nigeria international back in the starting lineup.
Rodgers has given good news on that front when he told BBC Leicester Sport that Ndidi may well return for their next match.
âWilf may be available for next week. He didnât make today but heâs responding well to treatment and weâll assess that at the start of the week,â explained Rodgers.
