It's important to point out that the reverse fixture of this clash was very one-sided, as Pogon Szczecin suffered a humiliating 5-0 loss at Gent last week. That said, the Polish outfit will have to overturn a massive five-goal deficit if they are to advance to the playoff round.
A player we would like to keep an eye out for is Gent's Gift Orban. The Nigerian striker has been in sensational form for the visitors, scoring 26 goals in 28 games since he joined in January. What's more? Orban tormented Pogon Szczecin's defense last week, bagging a hat-trick in Gent's 5-0 triumph.
It's worth mentioning, however, that there are a lot of rumors concerning the Nigerian player's future; as he has reportedly agreed personal terms with Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. Bearing that in mind, it'll be interesting to see if Gift Orban will participate in today's match. On that note, let's see how these teams could potentially line up for this match.
Pogon Szczecin vs Gent probable lineups
Pogon Szczecin
Goalkeeper: Bartosz Klebaniuk.
Defenders: Leonardo Koutris, Mariusz Malec, Benedikt Zech, Linus Wahlqvist.
Midfielders: Mateusz Legowski, Joao Gamboa, Kamil Grosicki, Luka Zahovic, Vahan Bichakhchyan.
Strikers: Efthymios Koulouris.
It may interest you to know that Pogon Szczecin have played six competitive matches since the season started, and they lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation in all six games. With that in mind, Jens Gustafsson will likely use the same formation today, with Efthymios Koulouris being the sole striker. Furthermore, Marcel Wędrychowski was injured in Pogoń Szczecin's 2-0 loss to Radomiak Radom last weekend, and will likely be unavailable for this match.
Gent
Goalkeeper: Davy Roef.
Defenders: Matisse Samoise, Ismael Kandouss, Tsuyoshi Watanabe, Jordan Torunarigha.
Midfielders: Sven Kums, Julien De Sart, Hyunseok Hong, Malick Fofana.
Strikers: Hugo Cuypers, Gift Orban.
Hein van Haezebrouck is expected to adopt a 4-2-2-2 formation like he did in the reverse fixture, with Hugo Cuypers and Gift Orban leading the charge. It's important to point out that while Orban scored three goals in the first leg last week, Hugo Cuypers found the back of the net twice. That said, there are no new players ruled out for the visitors.

Pogon Szczecin vs Gent vs prediction – Gift Orban to score
We aren't entirely certain that Gift Orban will start today. However, what we do know is that the 21 year old traveled with the team to Poland this week, and is listed in their 20 man squad. Should he participate in today's match, we are fairly confident that the Nigerian player will find the back of the net.
For one, he didn't have too much trouble scoring against this team last weekend, when he bagged three goals. Also, Orban has 23 goals in his last 23 appearances for Gent, that's a goal per game on average. All things considered, we fancy our chances with this pick.
