Balogun is currently eligible to play for three countries which are Nigeria, USA and England. An England callup will be unlikely as they have a very stacked attack.

Carney Chukwuemeka – Chelsea

The teenager’s promise and potential earned him a move to Premier League giants, Chelsea over the last summer. Although he is yet to show his talents as much as he would like, Chukwuekeka is a player that the current Super Eagles team could do with. 

With his ability, he would instantly help bolster midfield options and his age means that he will be a part of the National team for a long time. If he is called early enough, he could he a difference maker for Nigeria at AFCON 2023. 

Other players like Jordan Torunarigha of Belgian side( a central defender), Gent, Raphael Onyedika (a midfielder) of Club Brugge and Southampton winger, Samiel Edozie can be important players for the Super Eagles if they are given the chance by Jose Peseiro.
