Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is under increasing pressure to be sacked after defeat to Burnley left his side five points above the Premier League drop zone.
Express Sport looks at the candidates to replace him should the Gunners decide to make a change.
5 candidates if Arteta is sacked
Max Allegri
The bookies' favourite, Max Allegri has been out of work since stepping down from his role as Juventus boss in 2019.
Allegri won four successive doubles with the Turin giants, adding a fifth consecutive Serie A title in his final season at the helm.
He has been heavily linked to Manchester United with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer under also pressure – but it could be the challenge of restoring Arsenal to past glories that sees him make the move into the Premier League.
Thomas Tuchel
Thomas Tuchel has won successive Ligue 1 titles in his first two seasons in charge of Paris-Saint Germain, who he also led to last season's Champions League final.
His third campaign in the PSG hotseat is proving more difficult, with his side having lost four of their opening 14 league games – although they are still third in the table, just one point off the top.
At Arsenal he won't have the funds that PSG's mega-rich owners can offer – but he may relish the challenge of stepping up to one of European football's toughest leagues.
Patrick Vieira
Invincibles legend Vieira would have huge stock with the Arsenal fanbase, having won three Premier League titles and four FA Cups with the Gunners as a player.
However, there may be reservations over appointing another former club captain with relatively little managerial experience.
Vieira was sacked as manager of Nice earlier this month after five successive defeats. However, he led them to fifth place in last term's curtailed Ligue 1 campaign after a seventh-placed finish the previous season.
The former midfielder was groomed as a future manager by Manchester City when he was put in charge of sister club New York City FC in 2016. Vieira departed for Nice after two seasons in charge of New York City, who finished fourth and second under his leadership.
Thierry Henry
Arsenal's all-time record goalscorer and another Invincibles hero, Henry's legacy as a Gunners legend is secure.
But while he was world-beating on the pitch, the former striker's record in coaching is less convincing.
He had a successful spell as assistant manager to Roberto Martinez with the Belgium national team, before taking his first mangerial job with Monaco in 2018.
However, he lasted less than three months in the job and was sacked with a record of four wins, five draws, and 11 defeats from his 20 games in charge.
Henry is currently manager of MLS side Montreal Impact.
Brendan Rodgers
A manager with proven pedigree in the Premier League, Rodgers may relish the opportunity to manage another ‘Big Six' club following his time in charge of Liverpool.
Rodgers has earned huge plaudits for the passing game and pressing defensive style he has instilled at Leicester, having led the Foxes to a fifth-placed finish last term in his first full season in charge.
After narrowly missing out on qualifying for the Champions League, he has kept Leicester at the top end of the table this season, with his side currently in third place, just one point off the top.
Rodgers was three points away from ending Liverpool's long title drought during the 2014/14 season, and also led Celtic to two Scottish Premiership titles before taking charge at the King Power Stadium.
He would doubtless be able to improve Arsenal's results – but whether he would switch to the Emirates might depend on whether he still feels he has unfinished business with Leicester.

Other potential candidates include Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini, Belgium coach Roberto Martinez and – as a long shot – former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.
