South Africa's Bafana Bafana and Tunisia will go head-to-head at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo. This match will take place on Wednesday January 24, by 17:00 GMT.

This is a must-win for Tunisia, while Bafana Bafana need a positive result in order to reach the Round of 16. With that in mind, these are our South Africa vs Tunisia predictions:

Prediction 1: South Africa to win

We'll kick off our South Africa vs Tunisia predictions by backing Bafana Bafana to win.

To be fair, the Tunisians came out on top the last two times these teams met. However, their performance at this tournament doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

As a matter of fact, Jalel Kadri's men have just one point in two matches so far. They lost to Namibia, then proceeded to draw Mali.

Interestingly, South Africa are coming off a comfortable 4-0 victory over Namibia, the same team that beat Tunisia in their AFCON opener.

Taking everything into account, we are leaning towards South Africa for the victory.

Prediction 2: One team will not score

We've established that Tunisia are still hunting for their first win at this competition. It's also worth mentioning that they've struggled to find the net, scoring just once in two games.

As a result, most of Tunisia's matches have been one-sided when it comes to goals, as both teams managed to score in just one of their last eight games across all competitions.

This has also been the case with South Africa. At least one team blanked in Bafana Bafana's last four matches, eight of their last 10 games too. On that note, we shouldn't expect goals at both ends.

Prediction 3: Under 2.5 goals

For our last South Africa vs Tunisia prediction, let's take a look at the over/under goals market.

Given that we expect one of these teams not to score, we would like to back that prediction up with an under 2.5 goals tip.

Both teams have been involved in a lot of low-scoring matches these past few months. On one hand, eight of South Africa's last 10 matches went south of the 2.5 goal marker.

In like manner, none of Tunisia's last five games produced more than three goals. For this reason, we don't think these teams will score up to three goals between them.
